KAMIT WD - two-component screed

KAMIT WD – is intended for making concrete screeds with a thickness of 2-15 mm inside buildings, it can be left as a finishing layer or covered with flooring materials (panels, tiles, etc.). The product is suitable for use in bathrooms and on floor heating, as well as for making a top layer in basements, garages, warehouses, etc.

PROPERTIES

Once mixed, the product has a pourable consistency and spreads easily across the work surface. It has very high adhesion to the substrate. Once cured, the product creates a very durable, flexible, non-absorbent coating with high abrasion resistance.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

The substrate should be even, sound, compact, dry, and free of dirt, oil, and grease. Any algae and fungi must be removed. Prime the prepared substrate with KAMIT GW; for highly absorbent substrates, repeat the process. Apply the primer after the primer has fully set (no sooner than 24 hours after applying the last coat).

HOW TO USE

Pour the liquid component (5 kg) into a clean container, add the powder component (25 kg), and mix using a low-speed mixer until a uniform, smooth consistency is achieved. Pour the mixture onto a properly prepared substrate, spread it evenly, and then deaerate it with a spiked roller. Do not add water or other additives to the product. Adding other ingredients may cause discoloration, reduce mechanical properties, or even damage the substrate.

WEAR

Average consumption is approximately 1.9 kg/m² at a thickness of 1 mm. In practice, consumption depends on proper and careful preparation of the substrate.
